The Scientific Core Facility Medical Biometry and Statistical Bioinformatics also offers short consulting online. Please contact us during the regular consultation period by visiting our waiting room.

This is how you get to our waiting room:

1. Due to technical reasons, there are currently different accesses to our waiting room:
   
   If you use a UMG employee account, please select the following link:

   If you use a student account or an employee account of another faculty, please select the following link:
   https://to.matrix.gwdg.de/#/#shortconsulting_waitingroom:uni-goettingen.de
2. Confirm the preset “Homeserver” with “continue’”
3. Select one of the apps you would like to use to enter the waiting room. A quick access is to use ‘Element’ in the browser.
4. Under “Auswahl des Identity-Providers”, select “Universitätsmedizin Göttingen” or “Georg-August-Universität Göttingen’”
5. Log in with your Academic ID.
6. Confirm that you trust “Element”.
7. When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to create a security key. You will need this security key later whenever you want to log in from another device or another browser.
8. After logging in to Matrix, you may not see the waiting room immediately. Please select “An Diskussion teilnehmen” to enter the room.
9. You can now send us a message during the regular consultation period. We will then send you a link for an online meeting.
