Dear visitors, guests and colleagues,

The activities of the Department of Medical Statistics include clinical cooperations that we see through from grant applications to publications, a biostatistical advisory service for doctoral students and early career scientists, research in statistical methodology and teaching.

The current organizational structure of the department includes working and service groups closely working together. These are Clinical Epidemiology and Health Economics, Statistical Methods for Clinical Trials, Computational Statistics as well as Biometry, Data Management and Informatics in Clinical Trials forming the interface between the Department of Medical Statistics, the Department of Medical Informatics and the Clinical Trials Unit UMG and supports clinical trials in all aspects of biometry and data management. Furthermore, the Core Facility "Medical Biometry and Statististical Bioinformatics"  and the Service Group "Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses" are based at the department.

Further details on the structure of the Department are given in the organisational chart.
